Shane Beamer's comments re Ole Miss "injuries" after opponent makes first down or big play...get ready for it Saturday night. It's in lame Lane's DNA & there is not a damn thing you can do about it.
Also watch how many times the defensive subs walk onto the field very slowly after the offense makes sub. The clock is running, the ref is over the ball & again, their is nothing you can do about it. The O has no time for motion, set-up, etc.
Saturday will be wild if you are watching the game.

I think they fake them to slow down the other teams momentum

Going down with fake injuries is one thing but if you don't want the defensive subs to slow you down dont make offensive substations.

We did this to perfection in 2019 and then in the years following it seemed to do the exact opposite.

The boos will get very loud & deservedly so. I can’t wait. I still can’t believe they can’t get a delay of game penalty or forced to burn a timeout when it’s obvious. They need to change the rule

I don’t remember us subbing much in 2019.

Now we’re going back to the Les Miles bullshite of subbing entire packages in and out every other play. It’s a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

Apples to oranges.
We had a pretty obvious starting 5 with CEH, Jefferson, Chase, Marshall, Moss.

We don’t have that this year. I don’t mind rotating in different personnel for the right play calls

We used to go entire drives with the same personnel on the field. I don't think we've done that once since that year.

Exactly, but we did have the personnel for it back then.

Doesn't matter, we need a QB like JD to score on every drive and we don't have it right now.

WTF's wrong with you?

It’s chickenshit and every coach should call Kiffin out for it

We still do.

We have a very versatile TE. We have RBs that could line up out wide and WRs that could line up in the backfield. And all be a threat from those spots, not just ornamental.

It's not something where you have to have the same personnel on every drive the whole game, though in the back half of 2019 it felt like we did. But we do have personnel groupings capable of pulling this off.

People focused on the Tennessee fans throwing golf balls at Kiffin when that happened. But they neglect that it started with blatant fake injuries happening all game.

The rumor is Lane is mad that teams have done it to him in the past and now is going to do it to the extreme so they will change the rule for any injured player to be out until a change of possession. No idea if true or not, but they will do it Saturday night. South Carolina did it a few times in that game also.

He's been doing it for several years now. Ole Miss was among the first teams to start with that bullshite.

There shouldn’t be any rule change. If a guy legitimately tweaks his ankle and is fine after 2 plays, he should be able to return.

Kiffin is just a douchebag
