Is there a certain quote from a movie that has stuck with you since you’ve seen that movie? For whatever reason, you just haven’t been able to forget it?

Here is mine, from the movie The Crow, spoken by the movie’s antagonist, Top Dollar, played by the brilliant Michael Wincott, who is a very underrated actor in my opinion.

The film: Serial:

Stokely (a young kid): In an insane society, the sane man must appear insane.

Harvey (Martin Mull) Holroyd: Where'd you get that?

Stokely: Star Trek.

Harvey Holroyd: (to himself) God, I miss that show.

quote:

Pike Bishop : What would you do in his place? He gave his word.

Dutch Engstrom : He gave his word to a railroad.

Pike Bishop : It's his word.

Dutch Engstrom : That ain't what counts! It's who you give it *to*!

That's always stuck with me and made me think.
