I'd be all for that if I knew Manfred wouldn't give them a 5 year post season ban for doing so.

We do a pretty good job of banning ourselves on a year to year basis, I can live with that

Is the plan for us to not start Chris Sale game 2 if we win this first one?
I would be cool with us giving up 30 runs in game 2 with Eli White pitching 4-5 innings

Well this is going to be a “go for it all” game 1 for both teams and whoever wins wont give a flying frick about 2nd game

Must suck to be an Arizona fan today. The odds of mets or Braves sweeping today is pretty low.

Yeah most doubleheaders are split anyway. And the team that wins the first game isn’t playing anybody the second game

Just adding to our terrible fastball whiff rate this season by swinging right through mid-90's center cut four seamers

But how many playoff teams consistently hit mid 90s center cut fastballs routinely?
Probably not a lot.

I had no idea a ball could go that foul and turn back in and be a fair ball.

That was the weirdest foul ball situation I’ve ever seen.
