Hundreds of people from 63 countries packed into a Riverside theater last week to take the oath of citizenship. American flags lined the stage as messages conveying the immigrants' new power played on a large screen:

“Today, I am an American. Today, I am a citizen of the country I serve. Today, I can register to vote.”

The 775 people who participated in the naturalization ceremony Sept. 19 are part of a wave of new U.S. citizens being sworn in across the country, as immigration authorities approve citizenship applications at the fastest speed in a decade.

New voters.

Was always the plan.

They don’t even need them all to vote. Just increase census numbers.

What about when they change the system and quit vetting people properly?

Betting that 90-95 % cannot fulfill the criteria of becoming a citizen

They will get registered when they get their state IDs and/or drivers license to get the welfare.
The Dems use their names to fill out ballots...

"We" seems to be a minority in this thread, if that's the case

honest question. Do you think any of these people may have "jumped the line" and not been forced to wait 5 or 6 years to be a citizen like my wife is currently doing? Its ok to say you don't know. I know it's difficult for you but it's still ok

Wish they would do that for suppressors.

I don't know the case of every person, but from what little I know about the process, I doubt it.

I just don't see why that would happen. Maybe for billionaires or something

Yes but my coworker with a master's quantitative economics from an ivy League school.. didn't walk across a border but has to pay thousands, and has at least two more years for her approval

So, yes shortcuts were taken

Why do you assume the ones getting fast tracked weren't already ahead of her, from the same status/qualification, and this puts her in a worse position?

I want her application fast tracked too.

Non-citizens get counted for the census. Thus, they have representation in Congress

I'm glad I'm not the only one who keeps it in mind about the census numbers.

The more of this they do, the more we need to put a stop to it.

I thought it took like 13 years to be processed.

Thy wish is granted.

Several of the gun tuber channels I watch have been reporting vastly increased turnaround times on applications.

They were talking about it a few months ago.
