Did Toviano play any on defense?

Just don't understand how he cannot see the field especially with our safety's in coverage. Is he still serving some type of suspension.

I know he was recruited as a safety and to me he would be perfect with Spears in some type of coverage formation on defense. Watching Burns, Ryan, Gilbert, and even Jackson in coverage is infuriating. Just letting guys go right by them and of course they never look back to find the ball.

He showed flashes that he could play corner last year and was physical so I know he could at least be a nickel back in coverage. I think the off the field issues have set him back. Just hoping he could solve the coverage issues especially at the safety position.

He definitely played last night. Saw him out there in the 4th for sure. Didn't notice whether he played earlier in the game.

Toviano was and is a safety.
He got CB reps last year because we had no other CBs. He should have got reps at safety last year and this year from day one.

When Stamps half assed an attempted tackle on the sideline in the 2nd quarter Kelly put Toviano in at LCB and chewed Stamps arse out on the sideline.

Kelly has said within the past week or two that Toviano is a Safety. However, they feel he has the ability to play CB if needed, which he has been needed to. Truly, it’s an opportunity to get him more snaps. And experience at CB will likely help him at safety, as well.

Given the way BK described the Star position a few weeks back, I think Toviano is tailor-made for it.
But to my knowledge, he hasn’t played there at all yet. It’s been Major, Kylin Jackson and JuJuan Johnson when he was on defense.

I’m sure he’s practiced there. If he can’t get on the field with the DBs we have then he just isn’t good

He got inserted late in the 4th quarter. I thought the staff wanted to move him back to Safety and honestly thought he was going to over take Burns at the Star position. Seeing Burns man-to-man with slot receivers on slot fades is something I never want to see, his footwork is so bad hes never going to be competitive on those routes. If we play zone in those spots with someone underneath and inside of him then he wouldn't have trouble but putting him in man situations in the slot is stupid.
