Black people have been subjugating and enslaving other black people for thousands of years. Black Africans captured and sold other black Africans to white slave traders for immense profit and supplied the entirety of the slave labor force for early Southern Democrats. Let's not even mention the Bantu and Bushmen.
Their abuse of their own people is nothing new. The modern legacy media just likes people to believe that the behavior is exclusive to only wypipo of European descent.

Blacks sold black to whites, therefore it was blacks who owned blacks before whites did.

True, but tribal leaders who were responsible never thought that the term of indebtedness would last for more than a handful of years. They never thought it would be for their entire lifetime, much less all their decedents.Selling slaves was common in Africa at the time and it was always for a minimal amount of years... then they were freed.
