Out of all the things that happened last night, that was incredibly stupid.

Nobody that still votes R cares about Cheney. The independents hate Cheney.

Kamala came off as the uppity, establishment princess without any substance. The rustbelt hates that. Trump should have been more on the offensive but she didn’t help her case at all. Hating Trump is not a campaign stance

Her admitting that the Corona virus came from a Chinese lab wasn’t a great moment either

I mean hard to argue trump had substance when he couldn’t come up with anything to say for healthcare. Wouldn’t say how he wanted the Russia-Ukraine conflict to be resolved. Didn’t have any detail on how this mass deportation will play out.

Harris could definitely have more substance on stuff but trump had never had substance going back to 2016.

He outlined how he would end the Ukraine-Russia War.

As always Trump killed it on Foreign policy

When you were as terrible of a president as he was, it works.

Congrats on being aligned with the architects of the Iraq War. I'm sure the families of the thousands of American soldiers who died because of Bush and Cheney's lies are so happy!

Those people and the Bush family are what brought us Trump. People like Cheney is what made young Rs back then not vote or vote for people like Obama or Johnson instead of McCain and Romneys. These Rs who have gone to endorse Kamala have already been mocked and hated by the current R party. If Ds are happy about this, they've forgotten how much they also hated them 20 years ago.

These big corporations are hurting Americans and they must be held accountable and pay their fair share.

So she’s endorsed by a war criminal and a corrupt “Too big to fail” investment bank.

Congrats I guess.

Northern/Northeastern Republicans care about the opinions of people like Dick Cheney. They're "moderate" in their views and at times even liberal.

Now none of them are voting for Harris, but those that might vote for Trump while holding their nose are constantly on the lookout for intellectual reasons to not vote at all. People like Dick Cheney give them those reasons, and that's what it's really about. The Cheney's of the world want to discourage turnout.

And also, don't forget that our Conservative God Kings like Rush Limbaugh told us for decades that men like Dick Cheney are honorable Conservative beacons. People don't easily forget shite like that.

I never saw Cheney as a moderate but maybe I'm remembering wrong. I remember him as a right-wing lunatic nutcase.

I thought Trump should have responded with something along the lines of “I’m here to dismantle the uniparty status quo and that just proves you are part of it….” That’s what the people really want to hear.

He's not a moderate. He's a globalist war mongering cocksucker, but Conservative mouthpieces like Rush Limbaugh spent decades giving him and his ilk daily radio handjobs. To alot of Republicans, men like Dick Cheney are still credible within Conservatism.

Even if they don't like him, Southern Republicans will vote for Trump, but Republicans in other regions of the country would rather sit out the election than vote for him. When people like Dick Cheney endorse the opposition, the Republican Trump haters are given permission to stay home.

Trump lost in 2020 because voters were tired of his nonsense. I’m not convinced that has changed.

What did he say then? He said he would end it but not what the end result would be. I guess probably means stop support to Ukraine and let Russia take over. He won’t say that though.
