I noted this last night. It looked like the camera covering him was higher (her & her podium being shorter would account for two different heights of camera angle but most of his shots were less flattering - partially because he was talking to the moderators (head down) most of the night.
She had been coached (after the Biden debate, who wouldn't be) to make some faces at him and talk directly to the peoples camera. She was more polished, that was for certain. I've always been concerned about Kamala because she has acting chops, and exhibited those last night -- not that she cares about anyone or anything.
Trump also sounded louder than her, though he may have been louder once she got under his skin.

I'm sure it was a tactic to try and not get riled up.
