After waiting many months, we saw a unicorn lineup with a future Hall of Famer taking the mound. For those who followed the game, I can only imagine what that must’ve felt like:

The red hot A’s come into town looking to dampen the DAT’s playoffs hopes:

The Astros will lean on their stud rookie pitcher to strut to the mound and silence the Oakland bats:

Will the mighty bats of the Astros’ Four Horsemen come alive and deliver a beatdown?

You motherfricker, I just typed out a DAT thread and was searching for a theme. Happy to see the wrestling theme is back though

Last series against Oakland. Glad I never have to hear those vuvuzelas late on a weeknight again but I feel for that fan base. They deserve so much better than that shitty owner

Can we please win 4/6 against Oakland and Anaheim like we are supposed to?

Very, very interested to see how Spencer bounces back tonight

Two Astros pitchers with an immaculate inning.

And may Bawghetti bring the spicy sauce tonight.

I like the idea of rotating Diaz and Caratini at 1B.

That lineup is sick. Just put Dubon in RF over Chas.

I like Gamel. I think his presence on the team has helped.

if Jake or Chas start sucking again, it's nice to know Dubon or Gamel can be put in.

And hell yes to Diaz and Victor at 1st and C for the rest of the way.

It's amazing how some players respond to another opening. Two doors shut, ones opening. Good for him.

Any truth to the rumor that Verlander will be left off the playoff roster ?

Got to disagree. Chas is back and ready to produce.

Great start. Arighetti back to earth. We have 2 really good starters (Framber and Brown)… the rest are average and maybe should even be long relievers.

Dammit.
