People want to pay $3000 for homeowners insurance then expect to make a 50k hurricane claim every 5-10 years

Insurance companies dicking over customers turned the LA Bar association loose on the insurance industry. Now it’s out of control. There needs to be a happy medium.

Unfortunately even if you have the good sense not build shite below sea level or in an area known to burn to the ground every other summer or so you have to help pay for the morons who do not know any better. Providing a subsidy so folks can live on the beach or below sea level is something those of us who do neither are forced to provide to those who do....

He's still running his ads for a storm that "just came thru last week" back 8 months ago. He's about as creative as a pile of cat crap.

Ours went from $1900 to $3700 this year. We haven’t had a single claim in 18 years. I know we pay less than others blah blah blah, but we live in Prairieville in an area that hasn’t ever flooded (knock on wood). Very annoying.
