From WBRZ - LSU football team now has a new state of the art recovery center

I don't think lack of recovery was the problem Saturday.
BATON ROUGE - After Sunday’s game, the Tigers will have the chance to fully rejuvenate in the football operations building's brand-new recovery center.
After years in the making the LSU football team now has a new state of the art recovery center. The Tigers will use new wellness technologies and a revamped players' lounge to aid their recovery between practices and games.
Head Coach Brian Kelly says it's an essential piece of the football operations center.
"We can get our players to perform at the highest level all year, and that's what this is about. We're talking about the potential of 17 college football games, which is equal to an NFL schedule. To do that, they've got to learn about recovery," Kelly said.
The center has rooms with massage chairs, high-tech sleep pods, hydrotherapy, and more.
One room includes a cryotherapy chamber and a red light therapy table, which, Senior Associate Athletic Trainer Owen Stanley says, helps rejuvenate cells and shorten recovery time.
"So 20 minutes in this is all about cellular recovery and being able to produce more cells,” Stanley said.

Brian excuses Kelly

They got back at 5am on Monday morning and practiced 24 hours later on Tuesday. Not to mentioned they played Nicholls which the motivation to get up for that game was low.
Coach Kelly has a point in the fatigue while also not blaming motivation in the poor play. The other team wanted it more early on, and LSU got through on talent not effort.

More excuses than defensive stops

And I bet you do more bitching than actually watching the game

Come on you are a better poster than to let BK have this excuse.
It’s a poor excuse, we spend millions on state of the art rehab center, we have top of the line nutritionist, we know every minute of the kids schedule.
If they are tired adjust the practice to fit, helping them recover.
Either our SC program is dog shite and we need to go bust Scotty Cochran out of an Athens rehab center or BK didn’t manage the schedule if his team was tired.
I’m also fine if BK said frick yall, practice for losing and we were fine with not being 100
Percent for a rent a win, but don’t come out and make excuses.

Bruh it is 8am in the morning and you’re this worked up about a game that has zero importance and was completed almost 48 hours ago. Get some help

LSU fans hate when the head coach tells the truth

1. It’s 9 here
2. Yes the game wasn’t that important but BK is making excuses. Excuses that wouldn’t fly if Les or O made them. Nick Saban and Kirby don’t make them.

Coach Kelly CAN'T throw his team under the bus and say his team didn't want it more or didn't come to play. That would be stupid, but I'm sure he said something to that extent in the locker room.

He has thrown guys under the bus before.
He could have went the route of him and his staff did a poor job preparing and motivating and that’s on him.
Instead we get we are tired, while BC a much worse team with no rehab center flies back from Tallahassee on Monday and figured out how to win big and not look tired.

You have to be a good coach to play 17 games. Guy can’t even have his guys conditioned for two games

He's not telling the truth. The truth is that our talent level on defense is dog shite. The reason our talent level on defense is dog shite is that Kelly's initial coaching hires on defense were dog shite, it cost us in recruiting, and now he's in a position where he has to try and explain it away every week with a different excuse. We'll see what this week's excuse is after the South Carolina game.

This recovery center is making our players soft.
