In Orlando on a trip, and seems like all the courses are overgrown and cart path only. Y’all know of any courses within an hour or so that are actually playable?

There's literally 100 courses in Orlando...

Now, if the weather is and has been shitty with rain.. cart path only is your reality unfortunately... So i'd say play a nicer course that's managed and maintained well.. One of the Disney Courses., Waldorf Astoria, Hawks Landing...etc

Thanks for the info, not trying to be difficult, tried playing lake buena vista course at Disney today and the fairway was 2-3” tall - the starter literally said “it’s horrible out there”

Played anyway, but would like to play something in decent shape while I’m out here

We've had almost 10 in of rain in the past week in Tampa. Orlando is similar. Some courses drain better than others. OP should call around.

Call Orange County National and see if either of their courses are cart path only.

Disney courses are a swamp, especially Palm.
It was discussed today on a forum that Mystic Dunes drained well. Fun course. Also look into Reunion courses. The forecast is not looking good for you. Afternoon showers everyday this week.

OCN has two of my favorite courses, but they dont drain that well. Its wet here. Rain every day this month and most of last month.

Sweet Mother... You'd be lucky to find the top of a hill dry at that point

After today’s storm I can’t imagine any courses in Orlando aren’t wet. I was planning on playing Orange County on Wednesday, but I doubt it would be worthwhile.

Kind of off topic but I feel like every time I buy a new club, shoes or bag it proceeds to rain everyday for the next month or so.

Update - got in touch with Southern Dunes and Orange County National (Crooked Cat)

Played both and both were in fantastic shape, which was a big surprise. Awesome courses, highly recommend if you’re in the area

If you haven't played SD yet, be warned. They have a bad reputation with customer service. They will check you for outside beverages, etc. Truely a shame, since it's considered one of the best courses in the area.
Hope you have good experiences.

Played Magnolia Springs at Disney recently, and besides two holes they’re in the process of moving it was fantastic. Reasonable price as well.

This was 3 weeks ago, so don’t know what conditions are like now.
