Why not go somewhere else? Couple just sat next to me at the bar and asked about the beer on tap, then ordered a crown and sprite.
Whatever man…

If breweries are so special, then why serve crown?

I'd rather that than the ones who ask, "do you have miller lite? Why don't you have any "regular" beer?"

A brewery that has a full bar is a rarity

Because they are in the business of making money?

Many women don't drink beer.

I wish more had full bars. My wife can't drink beer anymore and I feel guilty with her having to watch me drink beer at a brewery, especially after my third or fourth.

Not at a brewery, but I do like visiting distilleries from time to time.

Exactly. I wouldn’t go to a brewpub where I didn’t like the beer. What would be the point?

In Louisiana there are goofy ABC laws regarding this, I believe. I think it's something along the lines of, you can't be a brewery taproom, also selling your beer offsite or for purchase in cans to go and also sell liquor/mixed drinks. Saint X is classified as a "brew pub" with only onsite consumption of their beer, therefore they can have a full bar. Crescent City Brew Pub is similar.

Bureaucracy is great!

You can buy their cans to go. There is a cooler in the left hand side right when you walk in.

Maybe it's just a not selling anywhere offsite deal. Who the hell knows? I'm almost positive it's a different sort of licensure, though.

I have not seen their cans anywhere.

I agree with your assessment of the fricked up liquor regulations tho.
