I am not religious at all so i dont care if he gets down and offers them all blowies tbh. That said, it really appears the catholic church, at least its outward facing oficial branch, is failing terribly hard on its practical use to society. That being to provide a strong moral and ethical framework to build a society around. If it isnt doing that i fail to see what use it has to people like me and why we should defend it or clutch our pearls about it like it is something sacred. If it was providing this funcion I absolutely would but it is not.

There is but one God but there is a lot of confused people who can’t understand this. It’s the people that have made a menace in their approaches in reverence to God and think that theirs is the only true way of doing so. It has caused more problems than world wars and will continue to do so. People are tribal and think they need to have things in all parts of their lives to reflect their chosen tribes ways

Yeah see none of that talk is ever going to get people like me to really rally behind and speak up about the good in defending our religious institutions and all of that stuff even though im almost certainly morally and ethically in lock step with almost all christians. The reason for that is these places have forgotten their practical uses. It extends far beyond morals and ethics as well. It is about the ability to see things are bigger than just yourself in a selfish sense and be willing to stand in your convictions for those that come later. Everyone is way too soft now. These institutions have roles to play in the here and now and if they are so fine with abdicating those roles then fine, shut up and get out of the way for something new.

I would imagine most catholics, you know his people and all, would answer its his job as the head of the catholic church is more bound than anyone on earth to defend christianity as the correct choice. Idk though. Some Christian churches hold open sermons about how morally amazing abortion is and how the trannys are moral martyrs like Saint Flloyd. It is all very perplexing.

For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? -2 Cor. 6:14-16

He struck out with the first bunch on the planet so, he created Adam and Eve. She suckered Adam, they were thrown out of the "garden". Had a couple of sons, one of which killed his brother out of jealousy. Was told to leave but demanded a sign from god to protect him so he wouldn't be killed? I have yet to kill anyone.
Hellova story and made for some great movies but, that's about it.
If he wants to keep me out, even though I've been descent to others and tried to walk the straight and narrow like my fathers took before me, C'est la vie.
