I know he lives close to the area but the Florida A&M game?? Hopefully the atmosphere is dead like usual but bandwagon fans are excited about the win over Florida so maybe they’ll show up.

Pickett has 4 lsu visits scheduled. If he makes it to lsu there will be nothing to see here

They may have a decent crowd after last week, but it should be pretty dead once they beat Florida A&M by 40+. They have the same issue UCLA has as far as getting students to come to games. It’s hard to drive 30-45 min across a metropolitan city just to go to a game as a college kid.

Wait till Brad Davis gets in front of him

That is the brother of the kid already on campus.
Dj is cousins with both of them. Lsu still has Corey Raymond in their back pocket.
I always thought Miami would be a threat being the home school. Cristobal assembled a nice staff on the defensive side of the ball. You know guidry and Cristobal are going to throw everything they have at dj Pickett to flip.

Men…We know how this ends. Don’t kid yourself. The family pressure will be immense. We’ve seen this movie far too many times. He Gone.

If he was going to visit anyway, I’m Fine with him going to a famu game instead of us for Nicholls tbh.
Miami home conference games are embarrassing.
A Miami / famu game is even worse.

More fans will show up than usual to see the marching 100

Here comes the "we've seen this story too many times" and "if he's taking visits while he's committed, he's not actually committed" crowd.

It doesn't help it looks like LSU has 2 studs that are very young at CB in Woodland and Stamps so him seeing field him probably less attractive. Shouldn't be looked at so narrowly but you know how these HS kids are.

The pitch is and has always been that there's the opportunity for early playing time. CRay loves long, tall, athletic corners... and while Woodland and Stamps are going to be very good, Pickett + Phillips are physically the types of guys he wants on the boundaries.

Lance Motha frickin Guidry is gonna lock down South Florida DB’s and hand pick Louisiana.LSU screwed up not hiring him vs Brad Baker .

I would think he'll be on LSU's radar in the future. They probably were not as interested in him because he doesn't have a strong enough history to justify hiring him coming off firing your entire defensive staff.

Yep, UM legacies in that family including DJ's uncle. DJ's family loves UM fwiw. I said it before he committed to you and I still maintain it - DJ might very well commit elsewhere but he'll be a cane in the end. JMO.
As for his visit to FAMU and knocking the attendance, he's visited Miami plenty of times before on unofficials, including games.

If a 5 star CB is afraid of competing against 2 3 star CBs then he's probably not that good. Anyway, if all 3 are good you might see Woodland slide to nickel and have Pickett as your boundary CB.

Recruits don't care about ratings. They're looking at PT and money. Stamps and Woodland are not 3* CBs. The ratings severely overlooked them. If they play like All-SEC CBs the recruits will take notice of that because it means less opportunity for them to start. Especially since Woodland is a true freshman and Stamps is a true sophomore. Shouldn't be hard to sell you still have a spot to play constantly. Injury, nickel, maybe even a starting spot if they think you're better, etc.
