Rain X, the best 5 bucks and a 6 pack ever spent?

A $5 will do a truck for a year and a beers worth of time every couple months keeps it fresh. I know there’s better stuff out there but I always end up back with old trusty
Driving with wipers slapping furiously across my face I just can’t do. Last couple days in the rain I’ll pass a vehicle every now and then and say to myself ‘ that guy knows what’s up’

I once drove a Chevy S-10 180,000 miles with no windshield wipers thanks to Rain X. Ended up dropping a Taco Bell messican pizza in my lap, flipping it in a ditch trying to clean it up and totaling it. But before it met its demise it taught me that Rain X was some good shite.

It makes my wipers grip the windshield in small amounts of rain, though.
Creating a vibration on the wipers.

this is what I use as well. now that I've started, I can't go back

If your wipers are stuttering, your wiper arm is bent. Needs to be twisted back so the wiper lays over when it changes direction, both ways. It’s why they stutter when going in one direction not the other

That was a bold strategy to try to eat that while driving

also works really well in a glass shower

Absolutely cuts down on cleaning
Water + glass = Rain X
I spend 50-100 a year on the various versions of it and use it on just about everything.

Also great for glass shower doors.

It should be mandatory for all drivers. They should check for it when they do the inspection sticker. It would keep all these jackasses from riding around with their hazard lights on. Would probably cut down an accidents too.

Been using it for years. The faster you go the clearer your windshield is from the rain. Anything under 25-35 and you have to use wipers intermittently

Have never used it; tried their wiper blades once but they sucked.
Will give it try.

Same except it was a 1996 Chevy Work Truck.

How long is this stuff lasting y'all on your windshield? I've tried it years ago with the original formula and it seems like after the first good rain it's gone.

Been using it for yrs. Luv the stuff. I find it lasts about 6 weeks before a new coat is needed

I drove a 1969 Chevy Truck for about a year in the early 80s with a string ran from one wiper to the other and inside the vent window of the truck. Had a piece of #12 solid copper bent into a U shape shoved inside the wind shield rubber. Snatch the string and the wipers would travel across the window, hit that piece of wire and bounce back to their starting position. Got pulled over twice for it LOL, did not get a ticket. Had I known about Rain X then Id have given it a try.....

It's more expensive but Aquapel is rain x on steroids! I find that the rain x windshield washer fluid/ repellent just doesn't work as good as the stuff that's applied, they wiped dry does.

I’m lazy and just buy the washer fluid that has it in it
