It's laughable just how out of touch this guy is with reality

So kinda like someone who supports transitioning kids without parental consent and lies about military service?

Just give your kids to the government then and get some cash back

LOL.
Classic groomer MO here.
Vote for the people that cause this crisis, then criticize those who will have to fix it.

A whataboutism is a rhetorical tactic where someone deflects criticism or a question by pointing out something unrelated or by accusing the other side of similar behavior. Instead of addressing the issue at hand, the person shifts the focus to a different topic, often to avoid directly confronting the original argument.
For example, if someone criticizes a political figure for wrongdoing and the response is, "Well, what about this other person who did something bad too?" that would be a whataboutism. It's often seen as an attempt to distract from the issue rather than engage with it.

So getting help from your family is “out of touch with reality”. What’s reality? Printing more money, more hand outs and more inflation?

No... that's totally normal and should be lauded.
Daring to suggest the getting family members to help out if one can't afford child care? Well, string him up as being a weirdo.
These liberals are laughable at best... pitiful as well.

You may not even be wrong, but I think the sadder part is that you think a family (direct and ascendant) being involved in the continued development of children is out of touch with reality.

My grandmother would look after me and my brothers all the time when we were kids. What exactly is unrealistic about Vance's suggestion?

That is the government's solution... Plenty on government handouts get paid for daycare when they participate in the jobs programs... They even get paid for transportation expenses... The program is failing miserably though...

Democrats can’t raise wages and taxes but lower the cost of everything. Someone tell them that it doesn’t work like that!

Grandpa and grandma are still working

Got to love liberals and their ability to create problems and always find the wrong solutions to their own problems that just create more problems
"Lets get women out of the house and working for Acme Corporation in a cubicle all day, in the name of empowerment"
"Let's enforce insane amounts of regulation on child care centers make the costs to send kids to them insanely high"
"Let's require all taxpayers, including families that stay at home to fund and pay for these childcare facilities"
"Let's require government indoctrination into these childcare facilities to create future generations of LGBT/anxiety/depressed young adults who will not be creating families of their own"

You missed the 2nd part of his answer. This was part one of his answer.

Do you not think that we as parents we don't try to get help from our children's grandparents? Do you not think we thought of that? As a matter of fact during the summers, this is exactly what we did. Even after doing that, child care is still unaffordable.

My mother in law helped my wife and I immensely with child care when our children were young. God bless her. RIP.
My parents did the same for my sisters family.
I am sad for those who do not have that.
