Or is everyone officially on the JJ bandwagon now?
JJ = 1 turnover in 122 offensive plays (run or pass by him) this year

He was def the man tonight. It is a huge improvement on the outlook. However we will have to see what he does week in and out next year against UF, ALA, GA. He def cannot be running into D backs like that all year and not have injury. Hope JL and AH stick around and improve (which they will) so we will have some depth. But for my buck today JJ is DA MAN.

This is a good point. I have never thought that to consider one player good, means that another must suck or be unworthy of being a Tiger...Why do certain players get to have their own personal "bandwagons"? They are TIGERS! if they dress out in the P&G, they are my favorite player that night!!

I'll happily eat my crow here. After the AU game, I really thought that spark might turn on for Lee and he would become a man. I think his main problem was he lost confidence after a while and started forcing plays.
I never thought JJ would be able to shine as a TF, but he showed he's the man going into spring.

quote:Dear God I hope not. Lee is the worst LSU QB in the last 20 years. You saw last night what a positive effect a good QB has on a defense by not putting them in holes they can't dig themselves out of.

You should be cheering for ALL QB's and hope they do good. You win as a TEAM.

If he JUST Sucked, then the offense would have NEVER scored at all when he was in, and if he JUST sucked, then we really would have lost to that crappy Auburn team. Moderation in all things. I appreciate all three of our QB's for doing the best they could under the circumstances when they each played. It's just not right to try and go back in time and think that based on the way JJ played last night that he could have played so extremely well from opening day.. And I'm not saying that he wouldn't have EITHER! I just believe that the coaches, who actually do have more invested in this team's success, made the best informed decisions they could about the QB quandry. Maybe the team chemistry started breaking down around Lee, and that affected his play, or maybe Lee's play affected the team chemistry, it's the chicken and the egg. It happened, this season is in the books, but calling out a kid who people went out and recruited to come to BR and play for LSU really seems like a piss-ant thing to do.

Wow you mean QBs actually can be erratic? What a frickin newsflash. You are a genius. Play the hot hand. It not personal. It about who is playing better. If that changes then the rotation should change.

People don't realize that the Quarterback is the most important position on the field. This is the only position in any team sport where you have a most important player/position. If you have a bad Quarterback that can't lead and isn't cool under fire, you have a bad offense. If you have a good Quarterback that can lead and is cool under fire, you have a good offense and most likely an above average team. And right now JL is the leader and the one that is performing better. JJ is a crybaby go watch some of the games and you will see him whining on the field.
