I’ve heard BK say the safety play has to get better and they will look to the youngsters to pick up the slack. But I haven’t seen him or anyone with the program mention that the corner play was a big problem for Sage Ryan. Ryan looks to give no sh!$s or he’s just really inept due to his size and lack of quickness.

Any chance we get Woodland or a transfer to start over him here on out?

Stamps, Woodland, Jackson, Spears should all be starting in secondary. Allen and Toviano should get mixed in at star and safety too. I want to see what the Ohio St transfers Brown and Johnson can do. Johnson hasn’t seen the field at LSU yet he can’t be worse than Sage Ryan. I don’t want to see Sage, Gilbert, or Burns on the field at all we know what they are.

The nicholls game is perfect for this as well as benching those that made bonehead penalties

Can someone here explain to me why PJ woodland had two mouthpieces attached to his facemask? He wasn’t using either one

Is that a ‘drop’ thing? Because it looks retarded

Well, there you have it. How do you know the second string guy can’t be worse than the first string guy?

I agree with every single word you said.

He did say that Woodland will be seeing more snaps moving forward. Also said Zy will slowly work back in the rotation starting against Nicholls. Those 2 things will certainly lessen the amount of snaps Ryan sees thankfully.

I mostly agree but am not sold that Gilbert is that bad. First game and it was tough, he might be a real asset.

Burns and Sage, thanks for giving us your all, but yeah I’ve seen enough.

He gives up every single ball thrown is way. Pretty telling when a team singles you out on a game winning drive and you can’t defend one pass because they know you suck,

Unfortunately, Ryan is who he is and it's not going to get better. I'd rather us take our lumps with the younger CBs to develop them at this point. Some of the young ones looked really good at times in the USC game. Going to be some studs there in the future.

Ryan has always been a liability. I'm not sure what this coaching staff's obsession is with him. Even when he's in position he never makes a play on the ball.

I thought Woodland played balls really well. On his PI in the endzone the receiver was holding on to him to make it look more like interference.

Ryan just panics and grabs the receiver no matter what, or gets beat by 3 steps. He will never be a good man corner.

Woodland and Stamps should be our starting outside corners starting this week. And I don't know who should be starting at the safeties and star but they need change as well. Ryan and Burns have proved that they cannot cover and Jardin did not impress in his first game as a Tiger

Except for when he let that receiver just blow by him to set up the game winning touchdown Sunday.

Im usually against an all youth movement in a position like the secondary or OL, but just like 2022 with the true freshman tackles, we have to get the youth movement going for the secondary now. These 3+ year players in the secondary are still doing the same damn shite.

Jackson and Spears, Toviano at star, Stamps and Woodland at corner with a rotation of JK and Jyaire. Alexander can provide support once he gets up there. Burns, Ryan, and Gilbert should be regelated to backup safeties.

Woodland has the hips, awareness, and stickiness to be an elite corner. He needs reps and about 15 lbs of muscle, but right now he still needs to be starting because of his natural ability.
