If the defense looks the same on Sunday

As it did last year, what will be the reaction Monday morning in here by all of you?
Personally, I've said it rather loudly that House wasn't the problem, and I don't believe Baker is going to make much of a difference. You can't bust simple cover 2 zone as a 3rd or 4th year player as much as we did last year and keep blaming House for "making the defense too complex".

So it wasn’t the coaches

And these guys aren’t here anymore… so whose fault will it be? You’re not making any sense

I hate everything about your post.
We play in 2 days and instead of getting excited and waiting to see how we look, you're already playing the hypothetical game with worst case scenarios.
Some of y'all aren't comfortable unless you're miserable.
Also, there isn't a scenario on God's green earth that would make me say House wasn't a problem.

Then explain players who sucked under House doing well in the NFL.

Sorry brother. Didn't know this forum had to be only rainbow and sunshine until it was the in-game thread and 90% of posts are negative unless we blow out a school.

There's a difference between rainbows and just being a twat.

Who sir? The NFL season hasn't even started yet. And I just know you aren't bragging about Masson Smiths 2 tackles in 3 games.

Maybe I'm excited but tempering my expectations. Or maybe, I just see post after post pumping sunshine like I've seen on this board the last 2 years and getting deja vu.
Trust me, I want a Tigers win. Another Natty and the first for BK would be awesome. I just don't see the improvement on the defensive side that all of you are expecting being reasonable. Lost DL depth. Still have Sage and Burns. Most of you are still wanting Perkins to blitz every single play, and the same fans blaming "scheme" without even knowing what our scheme was last year.

You will be right or you will be wrong on Sunday night.

There is a 0% chance of us looking that bad again.
A lot of how a team plays is in the confidence you have in the scheme.
All the players I’ve heard speak sound much more confident, so I’ll bite.

So you know more than the players playing in his scheme? Gotcha. What are your credentials Coach? You were Coach Waltz’s Assistant?

OP is most uninformed, ignorant, troll on here in a while….man oh man, what a ginormous toolzilla

The defense can be much better and still give up a ton of yards and points to SC.

The worst defense LSU has ever fielded was not due to coaching? Yikes lay off the paint chips…

Get your arse back in your room, I don't want to see you the rest of the day.

All the while there are LSU rookies making NFL squads.
Mmhmm

No offense Mr House, but your son looks like he eats his boogers and could screw up a ball bearing. He managed to put together one of the worst defenses in LSU history and arguably cost us another shot at a natty. Everyone saw the reaction Wingo had at the bowl game. House was the weak link. Period. End of story.
Nobody is expecting Baker to turn the defense into a top 10 unit, but it doesn’t make you a sunshine pumper because you choose to take the half glass full approach and understand just a little improvement could make a world of difference.
For all we know we could be on the verge of seeing an all time historic season by one of the most exciting linebackers to ever play the game. Sit back and let Baker cook.

So you're criticizing fans for talking about something they know nothing about yet you don't see us improving based on zero information that you know nothing about.
Great work.
