Drew Brees is parting ways with his fully furnished $7.5 million rustic tree house in Montana as the listing prepares to go up for auction next month.
The former NFL champion's property is near the small mountain town of Whitefish, Montana, and was built in 2023 by crews of Animal Planets' reality show "Treehouse Masters," according to Christie's International Real Estate.
While Brees' 1,700 square foot home is listed for $7.5 million, Concierge Auctions said that the opening bids are expected to be $2 to $4 million.

Bidding starts on Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. and ends on Sept. 26 at 9 p.m., Concierge Auctions said. A $100,000 bidder deposit is required.

Engulfed by snow-topped mountains and forestry, the contemporary home is perched on 20 acres of land in a private, gated community known as Homestead, the auction company said. The luxurious community, located 13 miles outside of Whitefish, features a personal concierge, a lakeside clubhouse and a golf course.
Residents have access to a number of water sports activities — fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding — on Little Bootjack Lake, Concierge Auctions said. Other available outdoor activities include hiking, as well as shooting and archery shooting rangers.
The four-bed, two-bath home, raised 15-feet off of the ground, includes exposed open beam ceilings, white-washed oak flooring and large windows that overlook miles of land in every room, the real estate website said. Next to the furnished living room, featuring a sectional couch and fur-covered swivel chair, is a deck with outdoor furniture surrounding rectangular propane fire pit.

Lol. I'd pay that price in Manhattan, not Montana.

house comes with it's own rapist?

Beautiful house but I don’t see $7.5 mil in that house.

“Tree House” is a stretch. They worked one pine tree into the porch.

Shawn Burks can build a cabin that would put that place to shame.

Even 2 to 4 million is quite a stretch for 1700 sq ft on 20 acres.

What exactly makes that a treehouse? Because it has one tree growing through the deck?
