Since the commitment…He and his father say that they talk to Billy Napier all the time...But he’s 1000% committed. lol
Napiers message: Just keep chopping wood and showing them Florida is the place for him.

Napier got rid of Corey Raymond. End of story

Wants his family to meet Florida’s new DB coach supposedly… Miami also chasing very hard still. I dont get recruiting haha. Why commit?

I wonder where Napier will recruit him to after he gets fired

News Flash: Coaches keep recruiting good players even when they commit somewhere.

We're just going to leave out the part where his dad said they're going to show support for Pickett's cousin who plays for Miami?

We will keep pushing. Not worried

Also said LSU has 3 more visits scheduled with him

I hope you guys don’t believe any commitment is over until they sign.
We aren’t going to stop recruiting guys committed elsewhere and neither will other staffs. Part of the game.

Exactly!! I don’t understand it. Bro just commit on signing day!! This 1000% is such BS imo.

The problem is where there is smoke and reported on this board usually has a negative outcome for the good guys.

Napier has 0% chance to he their HC next year

Yup. Easy to complain that our commits are talking to other schools, but yet we want to flip guys from other schools. Pretty hypocritical.
It’s similar enough to you or I talking to other employers about jobs when still employed by our current company.

Thread titles like this should be taken down. He's visiting Florida. That in no way means he's going to Florida. But let's draw an unfounded opinion and try and state it as fact. Pointless.

He lives quite close to Gatorville. Just a short ride down the pike...

Napier won’t be there at the end of the season so what difference does it really make
Posted on 8/26/24 at 11:03 am to Willietd
It’s still technically the offseason, we need something to catastrophize
Posted on 8/26/24 at 11:03 am to BayouTiger33
Napier is not going to make it past this season. Even if he was a good coach just by their schedule he will be fired because there's no avenue for success at Florida this year. They could have Nick Saban and still at best be .500 looking at their schedule.

Feel like a better way to convince recruits to come there is by winning football games.
But since that doesn't seem to be on the horizon for them, I guess chopping wood could help?
Also I don't think Florida is going to be the competition in this. If it's anybody, it'll be Miami. Let's hope they just continue to do what they've done for the last 20 years and that should take care of itself.

Napier won’t even be the coach at Florida next year.
