Not close to Jerry's but Pecan Lodge is great. Beef rib may be the best BBQ I have ever ingested.

Hurtado in Arlington (not far from AT&T Stadium). Cattleack or Terry Black’s in Dallas.

You are closer to Ft Worth (which is a better town than Dallas). Goldee’s, Panther City, Heim. And although the next two don’t have the best BBQ anymore they are institutions and worth going to if just for the ice cold fish bowl beers - Angelo’s or The Railhead.

Goldee’s was ranked the top bbq in Texas and it’s not that far from Arlington. Be prepared to get there early tho

Total Dive but I really like Ferris Wheelers. It's about 30 minutes away. Kind of like everything else there.

although good for BBQ its just that its OK. the newer places pecan lodge, Tenders Hurtados are doing it a bit different, and it shows.

TB's is for a "hey I went there" experience.

Lockharts Smoke house is good too, been to the one in Plano but there’s another location in Arlington 4 min from the stadium.

In Arlington your nearby options are Hurtado, Zavala’s, M’Jay’s House of Smoke and Smoke'N Ash BBQ. All of these are top notch joints. Not sure what day you’re going so check their websites for hours.

Pecan Lodge is the best in DFW, IMO but about 30 mins from Arlington. The brisket takes it over the top.

In Dallas I would say it's Cattleack, Terry Black's and Pecan in that order, with some other really good spots further north as well (hutchins is great).

Arlington and FW I don't know as well. Regardless you will have to wait in line early if you want the best. If you have a group I know you can go to Pecan Lodge and order from a much shorter line. Think you have to order 5lbs of food to do that though so have 3ish or more people I would say
