The biggest threat to society today is the threat to Free Speech, and it’s global.

I don’t know how many of you have kept up with the European and UK threats to people in America, especially Elon Musk, assuming that we are also their subjects and they our sovereigns. They are of course who determine arbitrarily what is wrong and what is right and what you can say and what you can’t. This video is a pretty decent introduction into the serious threats to your own free speech rights as well as clamping down on the exchange of ideas and the news we are allowed to cover and what we are allowed to think and say about it.
Take the time, and let this stuff soak in real good. This is no movie. It’s happening in places that once triumphed the right of the people to freely speak and express themselves, and the crowning jewel is of course the land of the free and home of the brave.
I am convinced that over the next few years, if nothing is done to stand in their way, we will all be living in a literal dystopian nightmare in shock how fast our freedom of speech was stripped, under the guise of it being a threat to peace, safety, etc, that being of course whatever the powers that be determine is off limits, namely I’m sure that which speaks against the powers that be and/or their protected peoples who vote for them, or in favor of anything that might do away with their power over the people.
This is evil man. Make no mistake about it. Pure evil behind every bit of this.

2nd amendment protects the first. Without the 2nd the first is gone like a fart in the wind.

The globalist really don’t want free speech

It’s definitely up there. Imo the UK is there proving ground for the idea. And it very well might end up flying there. Good luck ever imposing stuff that strict in America. I have 14 guns for a reason
I don’t care if this puts me on a list, if I lived in the UK and the second amendment existed there this is the point I’d be rising up in total outright rebellion. Remember that fed who is reading this. You won’t be spared

Look at the uk for an example. Guns gone and freedom of speech is gone. The uk has gone full libtard.

They were betrayed by the Tory party. UK voted “conservative” for like 16 years straight and this is what they got. Remember that for the folks who think the government will save them if your team always wins. Keep yourself armed to the gills and be ready if needed

That pesky Constitution is at risk... One of the main things that separates the USA from any other country in the world...

I used-to believe that wholeheartedly, and still do when it comes to this country, but resistance works ala Gandhi style sometimes.
It usually take blood sacrifice and turning public opinion, but sometimes it works.
The UK is in serious serious trouble right now.

I would say the threat to free, fair, secure, and transparent elections is just as pressing atm

And that is part of the equation to free speech, and the governments controlling the narrative, whilst controlling your opposition to their rule and authority for all that is right and wrong to think and speak.

When I was a kid, the worry was that the Religious Right wanted to limit free speech and in some ways, they did. In some parts of the country for instance, they successfully banned things like MTV and got in the way of art exhibitions and shite like that, but it was often isolated and never really gained national traction, and the reason it didn't was because of liberalism. Liberals were the guardians of the 1st amendment and Conservatives guarded the 2nd.
Liberalism wanted no constraints whatsoever on speech and that was antithetical to the sort of conservatism of my childhood. Motley Crue and Judas Priest for instance was the work of the Devil and the Religious Right wanted such things (and much more) purged from society. It was the Left that kept it all in check.
But now? Liberalism is in the full on process of self actualizing and becoming the progressive socialist control state it's destined to be, and Conservativism is left to guard both. The only real value the Left in this country had, has not only been surrendered for the Right to protect, they now actively attack what they once took such great pride in protecting.

I've always supported the 2nd amendment but I was never really passionate about it until the "Summer of Love". Before that, I only had a couple of hunting weapons that were unloaded and kept under the bed. The only defensive value they had was possibly whacking someone with them.
No longer.
Now I've got a tactical shotgun, four 9mm pistols, a 9mm carbine, lots of range hours and mass fricking quantities of ammo. I'm a "gun nut" now, and the irony is that liberalism brought me to that.
I'm a live and learn kinda guy.

Happy for you man. Everyone should learn from you and follow suit. I’m concealed carry every single time I leave my house with a rune chambered except work since I am a teacher at a college and researcher and it’s a “gun free zone”

Me too.
There was life before George Floyd and China virus and life after those things.
Before those things, I thought anyone who carried a gun around in broad daylight or even at night in most places, especially the suburbs was a weirdo, but no longer. I'm now one of them and leaving the house with my pistola is as second nature to me as picking up my wallet.

If Cumala gets elected, free speech has one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel...

I used to work for a multinational website as a moderator for their forums. Based in UK.
The amount of absolute disdain some of these foreigner have for us, and our 1a is absolutely sickening.
I used to fire back with them being jealous of us.
But yeah. 2a protects 1a. Without one, you can't protect the other, and vice versa.
