It is stupid to tax Zyn like that. It is alternative to get people to quit smoking. Thus saving taxpayers healthcare $$$ on Medicaid, Medicare for treating smoking related illnesses like cancer.
Zyn contains zero tobacco and causes no known health problems outside of some gum issues if you are heavy user.

I’d put money that big tobacco lobbied for the 95% tax - of course, their hand prints most likely won’t be on the actual legislation but if it’s an alternative to tobacco and it cuts into their profit/ —- follow the money
