One of the best ever commercials for college sports.

I am looking forward to more quality intra-conference matchups due to B1G and SEC expansion. Congrats to Oregon for getting out of the on-life-support conference. Also, hide your signals when you play Michigan.

One thing I'm excited about is going to one away game a year getting to go to new stadiums. This year it'll be Oregon at the big house. Next year most likely Penn State.

You can embed YT videos here now

The context being that the B1G has run this commercial for years prior to the addition of the new members. Pretty cool with the coast to coast graphics now.

Going coast to coast for all those games will take just a wee bit longer than those commercials.

Can’t wait for weeknight basketball travel from New Jersey to Los Angeles. Oregon to Maryland. Who needs to go to class anyway?

Not "new," per se, but refreshed/updated version to include the new conference members.

Someone needs to put the Game of Thrones theme with it.

The fallacy of players going to class ended with NIL and the transfer portal. Professional athletes wearing a college name on their jersey

the one positive thing I did notice from that commercial is the markets that are considered big 10 country now.

Los Angeles
Chicago
NYC
Seattle

Used to just be the entire Midwest. Explains why their tv contract was so big. Certainly a power 2 now taking the few powers that did exist in the Pac12.

Michigan is most likely the most popular team in NYC. DC has a lot of big ten fans. The east coast from DC to NYC has a lot of big ten alumni and fans of programs like Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State. Penn State has a large fan base on the East Coast.

When the Ivies gave up football, Michigan, Penn State, and ND became the favorite teams in the Northeast.

This season Big 12 is doing it-

Baylor v Utah is not a Big 12 conference game.

Arizona vs Kansas St a week later is a OOC, it would be interesting if they met again in the Big 12 championship game.

Notre Dame, Rutgers, and Syracuse were the most popular teams in the NYC market the year Rutgers joined the Big 10.
