Looking for recommendations from the food board. We will be dressed casual (we will be down there this afternoon for an unrelated function, anniversary is tomorrow so we are thinking of dinner down that way this evening). Can be, but does not have to be in Lafayette. we were thinking L'il Big Cup. I would welcome any thoughts on that, and/or any other suggestions from the Food Board.

I will search the board for similar topics also, but was looking for any new/additional thoughts.

Thanks...

Define “dressed casual”

T shirts and shorts?

Polo and jeans?

It's a little bit of a drive but go to Cafe Josephine and order the Ribeye cap steak. I don't order steak at restaurants mostly due to the fact I make them better at home, but the CJ ribeye cap is the exception to that rule. It's an unbelievable steak.

I understand that that is a fact... One reason I came to the Food Board early this morning hoping to get some feedback and still have time to make reservations if that will be the place...

Thanks to all... one more question (unless any replies lead to another question of course)... would golf shorts and polo be proper/acceptable attire for cafe josephine?

It's in the middle of Sunset. I've seen guys in bad looking t-shirts in there.

When you call to make your reservation, you can ask them to confirm. You definitely should make a reservation. It's a popular place. Last time we went, we had the only reservation was a 5 pm and that was a few days out.
