Saints extend Rashid Shaheed 1yr, 5.2mil

I'm far from an insider, but Olave was at Dragos yesterday with what I assumed was his agent and some Saints brass. Definitely overheard extension talk on his end as well.

He probably wants to avoid only the 5th year option, and wants a big contract after this year. Could have been putting the leg work in place and laying out expectations for this year to get an extension.CBA won’t let him get extended until after this season.

If Olave wants to get paid he needs to learn how to Catch the ball... He Dropped a lot of passes last season in crucial times of games.. If he corrects that he deserves his extension,but don't break the bank..
