Any Good Officer or Military personnel would have made sure he was taken out

There's been a guy at work going around telling everybody that he would have taken the shooter out if he were there because he's a (former) Marine. That you?

The SS and local PD screwed up because the situation was confusing and there was way too much miscommunication.
Any good officer military vet would know this because they've seen the exact same mistakes and confusion by highly trained combat troops in combat.
Also I'm willing to bet that 75% or more of the secret service and LEO people working the event were prior military.
