Small said Judge Monique Clement, who is presiding over the case, may or may not select a trial date during the hearing on July 17.

Someone out of the 3 of them shot a gun & injured 2 people. It obviously wasn’t Trey. Was it his little brother or the other guy? I don’t know

I saw the interview and Kelly did not say he would be back in a couple weeks. He said he had a court date in a couple weeks.

I just listened to the interview and Kelly said the following.the case is scheduled to get adjudicated next week and it should be over with next week. He says he is hoping it ends this saga and he hopes it allows him to move on to the next step.
So Moscona appears to make an outright false statement. I am amazed anyone at LSU still even talks to him at times. Other times he does give out decent info.

I didn’t think the NCAA was ever involved. LSU suspended him indefinitely so figured he would be good to go once he was cleared

Moscona says Kelly expects Trey Holly to return and Kelly never says anything that even sounds like he is expecting Trey to return, only that he hopes things will end in favor of Holley and LSU.
Whatever happens, next week will determine Holly's availability to return to the team. If an agreement can be reached, either dropping the case altogether or dropping the charges to a misdemeanor, LSU and Holly will know he can return immediately. If the charges and case continue as a felony charge, that probably spells the end of Holly's chances to play this season depending on caseloads in that parish.
