As of now, that's the plan. He's pitched six innings in the Northwoods League this summer and pitched very well. I would not be surprised at all if a team takes a flyer on him in rounds 15-20 and tries to get him to sign for $150K or so.

bottom line is Jay has never commented on the situation since he signed with LSU back in November as the incident happened after he signed

Jay is not only an excellent recruiter, he’s also a pretty good knife fighter. Quick feet, low base, hard grip, sharpening blade top notch. Only setback is short almost nonexistent wingspan or reach. But what he makes up this with is his grit. JJ credits his grittiness with fellow coaching colleague MM that obviously shows in his on court teams.

Granted, it was only one brief interview, but I spent a few minutes with Landon Victorian.
I enjoyed talking with him and the Barbe coach. This was during his junior year.
