In the past LSU signed Aaron Nola, Alex Lange, Rinaudo, Bergman…all freshman.

They came to LSU and stayed three years.Does this not exist anymore or has the portal totally changed everything?

You just had Dylan Crews, Tre Morgan, Gavin Dugas for 3 plus years. You had guys like Jobert from Juco.

First, I’m not complaining. I’m asking a question? And the guys you mentioned formed the core of the CWS champions. College baseball is almost like softball used to be; every year you have to pick a new team. I don’t like that but I’m older than most on this board.

Well your question is dumb. Every year you are going to have a few guys leading the team who have been at LSU since day 1. Jones, Travinski, Milazzo, Pearson, Herring, Helmers, etc. The portal makes them more difficult to keep, but I'm sure last year's freshman class has a few (Milam, Brown, Larson).

My point is that those guys were here 2 seasons ago. You’re acting like it’s been a decade.
Next year you’re going to have guys like Chase Shores, maybe Herring and Jones.

Well I was doing fine until your posts. I enjoy sports…probably more than most of yall. Had season tickets in the past.
No I don’t care for JJ. But I will give him credit that he turned a terrible year around and was within 2 outs fr possibly playing in a SR in the BOX. So there; I bragged on JJ.

Come on man. We have Friday and Saturday starters that were transfers. We have pitchers that came to us from HS but sat out due to injury. They’re coming back this year. And, the script has not been fully written yet.
