Which would you choose?

Why not both my dear fellow?

Happy - the cost of maintaining the plane and fueling it would make it not worth it

This is an idiotic hypothetical
How can you just automatically be happy at all times?

Do I have to pay operating cost for jet?
Posted on 7/7/24 at 9:52 am to braves21
Private jet. I would sell it. I'll be happy enough.

I manage a Lear 45 and 2 King Airs, you won’t be happy owning a private jet,

Most folks that I know who have private airplanes are pretty bitter and miserable. They also have a tendency to make those that are around them miserable…

I've heard, at least for personal jets, a rule of thumb is that the maintenance costs over 3 years will equal the initial cost of the plane.

Certainly one of the dumbest posts I've seen on here in a while.

I don't know but I do know it requires not having kids.

Considering my finances would not allow me to have a private jet maintenance on my
payroll I’ll choose being happy. Pretty stupid question

More to be found (if one’s a masochist) on the Poli Board.

I assure you, there are few things in life that rival hearing your kids tell you how much they love you.
Kids are the best part of life
