That names in that lineup… Jesus.
Truly wasn’t our year again.

White and Schwellenbach are the only ones you wouldn’t have expected on opening day.

Which goes to show that it's a little bit more than bad luck, no?
I think AA is getting drunk off of trying to recreate 2021 with the Duvall offseason signing, followed now by bringing Eddie back. In reality, it's pretty evident that 2021 was more about good luck after Ronnie went down.

That so called Phillies Frick starting pitcher is Cy Young candidate Ranger Suarez....good luck.

What names in the lineup were you lamenting?
Performance, yes, but other than the two I mentioned, the rest were gonna start - Kelenic and Duvall platooning of course.
Missing Acuna and Harris means we have both in the lineup now as well as Laureano/Wall/Williams/White.

Not lamenting the names, lamenting the performance of the names... which again, means our struggles aren't bad luck.

Not really trying to argue, but you said “look at the names in that lineup”.
If you’re gonna harp on me mentioning bad breaks or BABIP a couple of times then fine. I agree, our performance has not been just bad luck, but at times it has been a factor. Not the only factor and probably not an overriding factor.
We certainly have underachieved, especially offensively. Will we duplicate last year’s record numbers? Almost certainly no. Is there still time to right the ship? Yes. Will we? Jury is out on that.

You may want to fact check that.

Sorry wrong guy
It was Drank, and I did misquote
“That names in that lineup” was the quote.
Let’s win a fricking game

Season avg scored in the first inning-
can’t help to dread the next 8 innings of gaffs

Matt should’ve had that, right?

Good to see Bobby at least seem alert and conscious of what is going on.
That's the first time I think I've seen him since the stroke and, from the way Snitker and Francouer always talked about him since, I assumed he was kind of in a vegetative state.
