Any of y’all ever been to pass Christian as a vacationing spot for a few days? We went to orange beach a few weeks back but looking at something closer to home with 3 little ones. My expectations aren’t high but I have heard the beaches there aren’t that bad.

Biloxi - stay wherever, then bring them to the waterpark at Margaritaville during the day.

That whole stretch of coast from Pass Christian to Ocean Springs stays shallow for a very good distance from the beach. The water isn't as nice, but they're great beaches for little ones.

Dauphin Island, in Alabama, is another closer option.

If the beach is your main priority, you would do better to spend the extra time driving east.

Try to get a room at the Bay Town Inn in Bay St Louis.

Very underrated area for a trip with little ones. A few things to do with kids:

1. Marine mammal institute is awesome with kids truly.

2. Gulfport children’s museum is great

3. Kroc center is a great indoor swim center

4. Ocean springs downtown is nice and has popsicles and ice cream stores

5. Depending on age, Walter Anderson museum and o’keefe-ohr museum are also terrific.

Bay Town Inn allows little ones now? Thought it was adult only

We just got back from Pass Christian after 5 days with my daughter , her husband and their 2 year old. Rented an Airbnb in Timber Ridge subdivision. We were on the water and had access to the pool. Rented a pontoon boat one day. Went to the Mississippi Aquarium one day. Ate at Shaggy’s which has live music all summer. My grandson loved the music. Downtown Pass Christian has a nice park with a splash pad for the kids.

Looks like 15 is the minimum age.

This is a random PC pro tip but the Blind Tiger Butcher shop next to the gas station on Beach blvd makes the best burger in the state of Mississippi/ the gulf coast. High quality smash burger and the cuts of steak they offer are excellent too. It’s a gem hiding in plain sight.

They opened one in the Depot across from the train station in BSL…they have a full butcher shop, a restaurant next door that sells those amazing burgers, and a giant beer garden in the back.

Make sure to eat at the Long Beach market and deli. The kogi fries are awesome.
