How good of a singer is he?

I saw him open for Alabama back in the early 80's and thought he was pretty solid. He's had a long and pretty successful career
Edit to add it was actually 1985 so make that mid 80's

He wasn't even the best "singer" of the Righteous Brothers. Bobby Hatfield had some pipes. He's good, not great. His baritone voice distinguishes him but not much else.

He was obviously the most important of the Righteous Bros
I mean, have you ever heard anybody play a Hatfield of their hits?

I dunno, he makes Soul and Heart's Inspiration I mean when he lays into it after Hatfield's part, he gets the panties to drop soaking wet

Hatfield was a countertenor.

None better. His deep, rich, powerful voice is amazing.

I never gave Bobby his due. He's got an Al Green quality to his voice.

Bobby Hatfield had some pipes.
Supposedly Bobby's parents were in the audience. Maybe they inspired him -- those high notes at the end are awesome

He's one of the great vocalists of my lifetime.

He almost lost his voice.
