Here are some interesting comments from a Texas recruit.
Of the four universities, L.S.U. made the worst impression. After the Tigers lost to Georgia, 52-38, on Oct. 25, McFarland, his mother and his grandmother attended a catered meal at the home of Tigers Coach Les Miles.

“He was very dry,” Adams said of Miles.

Adams was further turned off by L.S.U., she said, when she saw hostesses sitting on the laps of recruits.

Yea, Texas and LSU both were terrible with multiple recruiting violations while OU ended up being squeaky clean.

Makes sense.

Read who it was written by and what university he attended. Also something stinks about the whole situation anyhow.

I wouldn't doubt Miles's recruiting ability.

This was brought up in a few threads yesterday. My favorite part was the excerpt from McFarland's essay. Mr. Star Student had a glaring comma splice.

Yeah, whatever, I'm a grammar nerd.

Sounds like a spoiled mamma's boy, whose mom is sitting on her arse waiting for someone to pay her. She acts like her son is such a perfect child and should be treated like he is the best ever. Him and his mom can shove it. Don't need them. Nothing but trouble. Screw them.

I have a hard time believing the mother and grandmother would be invited to a gathering where young 'ladies' would be sitting on the recruits laps, much less a party at the head coach's house. These people will say anything.

Sure he stinks. We have only had top 10 recruiting class after class based on the fact Saban once coached here.

Make no mistake, we would have loved to have him at LSU - but his story comes off a little fishy.

I attribute nothing other than your bias to your purported, "insightful" report. If the recruit was so painfully offended by the flow of alcohol at his visits,.... why the Freudian slip that Miles was, so... "dry"?

Give me a break. If he wants to play for us, great. If not, hit the road.

This lady has a problem and whoever takes this kid is asking for trouble. They will have to pay this bitch constantly to keep her mouth shut.
