NOLA To LSU - Ole Miss (10/12/24)

Hey guys!
There are 3 of us (LSU Fans) coming over from the UK for the Ole Miss game later this year.
We want to get from NOLA to LSU and then back on game day. We don’t want to drive, as we want to drink and tailgate before the game.
What’s the best way to do it, is there any fan coaches that run out of the city?

getting from Nola to Baton Rouge and then back to Nola will quite a feat..
party bus would be fun like the post above says. ubers will be extremely expensive and you'll be waiting a long time in contraflow after the game, and with traffic headed back to nola.
i'd recommend renting an airBNB in baton rouge and leaving sunday morning for nola

one option would be to get an Uber...
closer to game day, you might be able to get a lift with someone from here...

There is no easy way to do this at the moment. You may want to consider packing up Saturday morning and driving up to Seigan exit of Baton Rouge. Checking in to a hotel and dropping your bags. From there you can Uber to and from the game and have an easy trip back to New Orleans Sunday morning. If you want to party Saturday night when you get back to New Orleans, that 1.3hr drive will be a buzz kill.

Party bus is the way to go.
It’s not that bad. That bus ride back to nola after a victory can be very fun too !

If money is no object, this may be your best mode of travel for gameday. Or you could rent-a-car for a day for far less than $327 for the three of you.
NOLA to Red Stick Gameday Transportation
Car rental currently around $105 average + insurance will put you around $150 (I use Allianz Insurance for my travel needs)
Current Kayak Car Rental prices from MSY for Oct. 12th
Of course, all prices listed are in $USD.

I have used Baton Rouge blitz numerous times from Nola for the games. They are fantastic.

I have taken Rally buses on occasion to away games and they were always fun.

Is there any party bus companies you recommend? Or can you book on through bars?

If you have any flexibility, see about just flying in and out of New Orleans. Rent a house or a condo in BR and make it a full LSU football weekend. I say this as an out-of-towner who has enough experience to know that combo-ing New Orleans and a Tiger game isn't as easy as it sounds.

Take the high speed rail from NOLA to BR. Just opened a few months ago and is nice

Is there party buses you can book on to?
