If BI demands a Max deal, then why’s his trade value seemingly low

As a max contact player, this means you’re one of the best 60ish players in the league assuming each team can have 2.

So if he’s going to get a max or close to a max deal from someone, then why are we having discussions of sending other players and picks to trade him away.

Meanwhile, Bridges value just said he was worth several years of first round picks. Surely BI is worth something more than a player swap and shouldn’t warrant us getting rid of more assets to deal him right?

Just because he may be demanding a max and thinks he's worth it, doesn't mean anyone else in the league does.

Could be why he hasn't been traded yet. No one thinks he's worth that.

Because he’s not a max contract player and any team that will give it to him is foolish and the GM deserves to be fired. He’s a solid 3rd option on a good playoff team.
