I loved those things!
Seems like they would be awful now but back then I was a baller if my mom pulled those out of the freezer on a Saturday.

Yep. Only thing my grandfather would make for breakfast when I visited in the summer. The cinnamon sugar ones in particular. To taste one would take me directly back to 1981/82.

Can't say that I do, but every once in a while my mom would break open a can of biscuits and instead of baking them, she'd fry them in oil after taking a tool she used to punch a hole through the center of each biscuit and then when done, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
She'd take the round piece she punched out and also fry them and then sprinkle them with a mix of cinnamon and granulated sugar.
Also, we'd sometimes get French Toast made with white bread dipped in an egg wash that was seasoned with cinnamon and vanilla extract and fried till golden brown in a cast iron pan with butter doing the browning. After it was done it was either powdered sugar or granulated sugar to sweeten it.

IDK if they were Morton's, but I do remember some frozen powdered jelly-filled donuts, and also some glazed that you could heat for 10 seconds in the microwave and they'd taste like a fresh KK
