Is there a place to see which LSU players are playing in the Appalachian League this summer? I know I can go each teams individual roster but that seems tedious and error prone.

Thanks

Edit: Just saw the post LSU basball web site.

Unless things have changed since Friday, we don't have anyone playing in the Appy League.

Pretty much just the Cape Cod league and the Northwoods league.

Correction below: Griffin Herring will pitch this summer for the Chatham Anglers, instead of the Hyannis Harbor Hawks.

Do players going to the draft get these assignments? Curious about Herring’s future

Great question!!

Noot, Herring, Woods, Hurd?? Coming Back? Why would they go there if they are leaving?

The only way he comes back is if he doesn’t get drafted, and it’s very likely he will be drafted

Yeah, draft eligible players will play in summer leagues, especially if their college postseason ends early.
As for Herring, if an MLB team meets the signing bonus he is asking for, he will be gone.

Unless he does something that could potentially land him in prison, he's getting drafted in the top 4 or 5 rounds

To get reps and work on things so they don't go to extended spring training or the MiLB with cold arms.
