I understand that. High school recruiting is still my favorite thing but I don't have a favorite recruit each year anymore

This board said this can't be true LSU is poor and can't out bid Texas for anyone.
In all seriousness, I don't think most people on here realize how much money LSU has for things like this. They're top 10 easily. Even Texas has a budget on this.

If they commit great and if they still taking visits after committing I pretty much consider them not committed just a heavy LSU lean.

The difference is Texas boosters will push millions towards these kids, LSU won’t, BK wants guys here that want to be here and develop, not come for money. Look at Bryce and how he’s been talking, he knows the real money is at the next level, not college.

You act like we're not paying anything..... maybe we're not the highest bidder, but these kids are still getting a tidy little payday.
If all you're doing as a recruit is selling yourself to the highest bidder, then that's all well and good - won't knock you for getting your bag, but there's other things that factor into most people's decisions.

This is what I’m saying. BK is not going to waste the money on a guy that’s in it just for money. Can LSU pay it? Sure they can, but why throw millions at a guy that you know will just leave looking for another team to do the same the following season? That’s the way BK thinks

LSU is top 5-10 competitive with NIL bids. Yes, they're dishing money out like anyone else.
