They have to be hoping that they can use some of this kangaroo trial nonsense as their predicate for withdrawing from the debate. There's no way Joe is going to look good coming out of it.
While they may be able to pump him full of enough drugs to keep him lucid for most, the Biden campaign request that they sit at a table w/ no live audience alone is highly suspect when it comes to his stamina.
