Per the SECN broadcast no, but then I heard Peter Burns say yes, and now we have a statement from the SEC confirming yes.

So to answer your question, yes Jay Johnson will be coaching today.

I believe so. We were the road team for the first 3 games (UGA and UK as higher seeds, then a coin flip for the first USCe game), so we have a lot on our side.

I could have gone to Hoover today. But I know better, since I went to Knoxville. So I'll stay here.

so being the lower ranked team does't count?

I gambled and bought tickets behind the 3rd base dugout as soon as we walked it off. Either way, I get to see the Tigers win.

I think the higher ranking only comes into play if the higher ranked team hasn't played a game yet. After that, it doesn't really matter, it's all about how many times you've been home/visitor vs. the other team.

I'll break it down.

LSU

Georgia: Visitor
Kentucky: Visitor
South Carolina: Visitor
South Carolina: Home

Tennessee

Vanderbilt: Home
Texas A&M: Home
Mississippi State: Visitor
Vanderbilt: Visitor

The first question is: Which team has been home the least number of times? That would be LSU, we were only home once, and Tennessee has been home twice. So we're the home team here.
