No. He beat the teams he should have beat and was awful against teams that were favored.
If he recruited better lsu wouldn’t be sneaking into a regional after sec tourney wins. They are a perennial powerhouse. Recruiting should reflect that.

This year is probably a better coaching job than last year. He had to replace 8 of 9 position players.
