We must keep a close eye on J. Nesbitt(QB), J. Dwyer(RB), and J. Shaw(RB) on every play and know that Shaw is also a threat to throw the ball. Each play is pretty much designed to fake to one person and go to the other. If we use extra bodies to always go after these three guys and just let the others beat us on their own then I think we can slow them down enough to win.

Jaybo Shaw is our backup qb. I think you mean Roddy Jones (214 yards off 13 carries against the mutts).....and he isn't a threat to throw. We used 1 trick play this year where someone other than the qb threw the ball....it was a reverse pass from Bebe Thomas(our only real threat at WR). Shaw won't see the field unless Nesbitt gets hurt.

If I am LSU....I worry about 3/4 guys..Dwyer is the first option in the TO, so he is number 1. Numbers 2 and 3 are the weakside (motion) A-back and QB. Nesbitt has had a tenancy to pitch more and keep less later in the year..but that is probably due to more defenses wanting to force him to pitch the ball because its one of the most likely ways to force a turnover. Roddy Jones is the A-back who is used the most as a running threat, while Lucas Cox is at the other A-back and will usually be the lead blocker on plays that feature him as the strong side. Jones, Dwyer and Bebe are all serious homerun threats....a healthy Nesbitt is best when dropping back or rolling out and then taking off when dbs drop off into coverage. JN will keep on the TO, but his biggest and most clutch gains have been when he follows the b-back up the A gap and uses the B-back as a lead blocker.

Based on some of the posts in this thread, maybe LSU shouldn't even show up for the game. I mean, according to some of you, we are fricked. Somebody call Miles, tell him that we are fricked, and to keep the team home for New Years.
