Were the Nuggets just bored and on auto pilot?

Trailed at halftime in every game against the Lakers just to come back and easily win the series 4-1.
Dropped the first two games to the Wolves including a game two prison raping.
Looking completely unstoppable since game three after a lot of people said they are finished. Pretty impressive flipping of the switch.

Pretty much. They did this at times last year too. I think they’ve figured out they can’t coast if they want to repeat.

Yes, it took the game 2 gang rape for them to come together and say “ok, time to turn it on now, enough of this shite, frick Shaq”

When Denver wins the series, Shaq be like “I made that mvp comment to motivate Jokic. I’ve always liked him”.

I like Shaq but he needs to let go that MVP stuff, seriously man, how much more do you need in life.

There's no doubt Barkley (Nuggets gonna get swept) and Shaq's public shaming of Jokic for winning the MVP spurred them on....by all accounts, his teammates love him. So the media maybe reignited them. Don't awaken a sleeping giant.

Reminds me of the Rockets in '95. Maybe not quite as bad.
Not great regular season record. Fell behind Jazz and Suns before coming back in those series. Trailed by 20 in Game 1 of Finals before coming back and winning and eventually sweeping the Magic.

It's like they were playing with their food before eating it.

They reflect off Joker who is kind of that way.
Some nights he's just an assist machine and feeding everyone.
But some nights he gets aggressive and wants to score. And when that happens that team is unstoppable.

The entire country shite on them for a week after game 1.
They had endless amounts of motivation if they wanted it.
Shaq also with an all time bad take .

No. Using Aaron Gordon as a point forward and others to bring the ball up the court using Murray off the ball was a great adjustment to unlock their offense.
