A lot of people would argue that religion has not proven to be a positive for society.
Religion is used to control people and perpetuate tribalism. It's more analogous to criminilization than legalization.

No politician is ever, ever going to give you 100% what you want. So it becomes a question of what you can tolerate. Or what your priorities are.
Is this issue your biggest priority for a politician?

Why on Earth did you vote for Kim Carver? He's a pussy.
He was going door to door during the campaign and I decided to ask him questions and he was all about bullshite issues that had nothing to do with real issues in Mandeville....or really in the state.
He mentioned something about education but I could not tell you what. I'd rather people just say nothing

It's not that it is the biggest priority. It's that it is emblematic misplaced priorities of people elected to represent us. There are a lot of problems that need to be addressed in this state, killing a revenue creator that is really not causing any issues is not one of them. I don't partake in any of that, but I don't need daddy\mommy Government telling me they know what's better for me than I do. The same Government that will tell you that you can't eat a gummie, because, think of the poor children, is the same Government that will tell you that you must mask up and you can't go out to eat or to a party...because, think of the poor children. All while costing an already piss poor state millions in tax revenue while they're at it, so they can line their pockets from lobby donors.
