This is the problem. Why is he yelling at Counsell 150 feet away in his own dugout? Just shut up and umpire the game.
And that was definitely a case a Counsell sticking up for his guy who hadn't gotten a call in a bit. There's some strategy behind these managerial tirades. I don't think Counsell meant to get run in this case, but he needed Shota to hear him taking up for him.

Why is Counsell continuing to ask if he swung even after the ump told him he did? Counsell had a shitty view of the play and continued to whine even though he clearly had a terrible angle of the play.

Because Counsell is yelling at him, I get that he's your manager, he looks just as retarded as the umpire. I'd say the same if Snit did it.
