I wonder how much a broken arm, leg, or any other typical kids ER visits costs now vs 1977 on average, in real dollars

it was about $650 in the early ‘70s, my dad pointed that out to me

No, it's women turning dads into bitches. And Obama care, shoving everyone into high deductible plans, discouraging care (by design,) and therefore increasing risk aversion even more among wives. Notice a running theme?

Those were the days.
Bottle rocket war. Friend on top of a gravity diesel tank.
Hit him in his pants pocket, which was where he had his stash of bottle rockets, which all caught fire.
At the moment it was hilarious to see him jump down and run with sparks flying.
Reality hit when we had to bring him to the ER with 2nd & 3rd degree burns.

Doubt it. Everything is relative. It’s the annoying helicopter man Ms who don’t let their kid have any fun. They’re turning their kids into candy assed pansies. A few of my friends wives who are like that. Completely disgusts me. I would have kicked them out a king time ago.
